Pipelayer Opportunity at Suncore

Suncore is looking for an experienced Pipelayer to join our crew. If you know underground utilities, understand line and grade, and take pride in doing the job right, we want you on our team.

You'll install water, sewer, storm drain, and other underground utilities while working alongside experienced operators and crews on demanding civil construction projects.

What You'll Do

• Install, align, and grade pipe to project specifications.
• Set and maintain line and grade using lasers, grade rods, and other instruments.
• Prepare trench bottoms and bedding for proper pipe installation.
• Connect, seal, cut, and fit pipe as required.
• Read and interpret construction plans and utility drawings.
• Assist with trenching, backfilling, compaction, and related underground work.
• Work safely and efficiently around heavy equipment.

What You'll Bring

• 1+ year of pipelaying experience in heavy civil construction or underground utilities.
• Strong knowledge of water, sewer, storm drain, and other utility systems.
• Ability to read plans and understand pipe installation methods and practices.
• Ability to work outdoors in physically demanding conditions, including heat.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
• A strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
