Cement and Asphalt

Our client is seeking a Civil Engineer with their Professional Engineer License who can be their Engineer of Record for Nevada and manage their Quality Lab in Las Vegas. The testing team is seasoned and experienced, so managing them will be fairly easy. Out client most needs a PE in that manager seat. They will pay for relocation.

This is a really good opportunity with an organization that is doing both cement and asphalt projects in the civil construction world. And even more interesting, the company is also its own manufacturer. The operation in Las Vegas is the corporate HQ for the civil construction unit. The site has two quarries, two (soon to be three) hot plants, a fleet of new vehicles and equipment, and two testing labs (one for cement and one for asphalt).

Nevada does require that any test results be stamped by a licensed Professional Engineer. Our client is looking for someone who already has their license or has the accredited education and the necessary engineering experiences that qualify for the license. They will pay for the test, but the license does need to be obtained within six months of beginning.

• Ongoing projects . The company is also taking on projects throughout the Southwest. Testing will remain robust with this organization.
• Advancement . With the size of organization, its parent its parent North American manufacturing company and their planned growth there will be opportunities to move into manager and other construction leadership roles; or roles in their building materials manufacturing plants.
