ilingual Spanish Medical Assistant – Entry Level

Midwest Allergy Inc. is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Medical Assistant to join our growing Allergy, Asthma & Clinical Immunology practice.

This is an entry-level, beginner-friendly position . New graduates and candidates beginning their medical careers are encouraged to apply. Training and cross-training will be provided to qualified candidates.

We will also consider qualified candidates with phlebotomy training or certification, including Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), Phlebotomy Technicians, and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) .

Requirements

• Bilingual Spanish – Required
• Phlebotomy training or certification – Required
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Previous medical office experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable, punctual, professional, and willing to learn.
• Strong communication and computer skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be available to work the required schedule for the position.
• Preferably reside within 10–15 miles or approximately 15–20 minutes of the clinic.

Office Hours & Scheduling RequirementsFull-Time Availability

Applicants seeking full-time employment must be available for the following clinic schedule:

• Monday: 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Thursday: Office Closed
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM — Mandatory

Part-Time Availability

Applicants seeking part-time employment must be available for the following schedule:

• Monday: 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM — Mandatory
• Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM — Mandatory
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM — Mandatory
• Tuesday: On-call / PRN (as needed)
• Friday: On-call / PRN (as needed)

Please Note: Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday availability is mandatory for part-time applicants. Tuesday and Friday availability will depend on clinic needs.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and update electronic health records (EHR).
• Perform venipuncture, allergy testing, and laboratory procedures.
• Assist with allergy immunotherapy and biologic injections.
• Assist with clinical research visits, specimen collection, and documentation.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Collect patient payments and perform front-office duties.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional clinical environment.
• Cross-train in clinical and administrative responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
